Nils Pedersen: It's Groundhog Day! Again.

February 15, 2 pm at CUMC

Harold Ramis' 1993 movie 'Groundhog Day' is a beloved  and respected so-called fantasy romantic comedy. It’s a humorous story in which a boy falls in love with a girl, girl thinks boy is an ass, but (spoiler alert) gets won over in the end, all while boy is stuck in a time warp where he has to repeat the same day over and over. Beyond the romantic comedy, the film addresses basic questions of life relevant to all of us: what do I do with this day? What do my decisions matter? How do I change and grow as a person, and why would I?
